New add-on: Query multiple parameters simultaneously
We’re excited to introduce an enhancement to filter parameters in the page builder. Until now, when you added a view or report to a page, all associated parameters appeared in the Filter Parameters section, allowing you to type in or assign a single filter parameter to refine the view or report.
What’s new?
Now you can use up to 10 parameter values, be it self-defined, or local or global variables, to refine your view or report. Simply separate all values with commas, regardless of their nesting properties, and you are good to go.
This enhancement is only applicable when the advanced filter’s configuration contains the following operators: Part of, Not part of, Contains, Not contains, and In. For all other operators, the behavior remains as it was previously.
How it helps
Imagine you’re creating an employee attendance report. With the new filter parameter feature, you can refine the data to show attendance percentages based on selected departments.
Enter the department names, separated by commas.
For example: HR, Marketing, Sales
This feature helps app developers to create more targeted views or reports with ease. Give it a try and let us know your feedback. For more information, visit our help documentation.
