Introducing enhancements to document templates
We’re excited to announce new improvements to the document templates, available in processes, apps, and notification settings across processes, boards, and apps. These updates aim to improve user experience, and provide greater flexibility when working with document templates.
Improving table formatting options
Previously, formatting controls for tables were placed inline, as shown in the image below:
Now, we’ve introduced an intuitive UI for these table formatting options,
- Column width
- Table border
- Table header
- Delete table
Additional table formatting options
We now have six new table styling properties in the template editor:
- Cell padding
- Cell spacing
- Cell color
- Border color
- Border width
- Border stroke
Added to this users can now:
1. Access a contextual menu by right-clicking on a table, making it easier to manage tables.
2. View last edited information as to when the document template was last updated and by whom.
3. Rename the document template directly from the editor.
4. Text format multiple rows and columns.
5. Resize and reorder cells as shown in the gif below.
We hope these enhancements to the document template feature improve the user experience and offer more flexibility for users working with templates.
As always, we’re here to support you—feel free to share feedback or suggestions for further improvements. Let us know how these updates are helping streamline your work!
