Upcoming change: New limits for JSON variable data in Kissflow Apps

We are implementing new limits for JSON variable data and schema in Kissflow Apps to ensure system stability and better performance.

Currently, there are no limits. However, starting the second week of February 2026, the following limits will apply to new and existing JSON variables in Kissflow Apps across all environments.

New limits for each JSON variable

• Root keys: Maximum of 100 keys at the top level.

• Nested keys: Maximum of 30 keys within an object.

• Nesting levels: Maximum depth of 2 (applies to both arrays and objects).

• Array items: Maximum of 30 items per array.

What this means for you

These new limits will affect your existing JSON variable data.

We strongly recommend auditing and editing your JSON variable data to comply with these limits immediately to avoid disruption upon rollout.

Release timeline
