Upcoming enhancements to dataset export
We are working on two key updates to the Dataset export feature:
Row limit for exports
Enhanced user fields in exports
Row Limit for exports
Currently, CSV exports do not have a row limit. With this upcoming update, each export will be capped at 100,000 rows per CSV file. If your dataset exceeds this limit, the export will automatically split into multiple CSV files and bundle into a single ZIP folder.
For example, a dataset with 110,000 rows will be exported as a ZIP folder with two files:
- file_1.csv with 100,000 rows
file_2.csv with the remaining 10,000 rows
Limiting CSV exports to 100,000 rows improves performance and reduces the risk of timeouts. It also makes large datasets easier to manage, share, and review by splitting them into smaller, more practical files.
User fields in exported files
Now, exported user fields include two columns: User ID and User name. After the update, a third column, User email ID, will be added to the export. This enhancement makes it easier to re-import exported data, as the additional information helps in more accurate user mapping.
These updates are expected to go live by the second week of June. If you have any questions, please comment below or contact our customer support team.
