Understanding event categories and actions
Event categories are groupings that help admins to filter down to specific sets of actions performed by users in an account, allowing for a simpler way to monitor, review, and audit operations efficiently from the audit log page. These categories include examples like process administration and board administration.
An action refers to the specific activity carried out by users within the account. Examples include events like dataset permission changes, user activation, or field modifications. Each set of action is associated with a particular event category, making it easier to track and manage related operations.
This documentation lists all event categories and their corresponding actions across all modules of the product.
Note:
Other actions not listed in this documentation fall under the unclassified event category.
