Workaround: How to recover an accidentally deleted field or section from a process form
As a process member, when working on a form, you may mistakenly delete a particular field or section. Once deleted, the changes are auto-saved; thus, you won't be able to recover these deleted fields/sections. However, if you haven't clicked the Go live button in the form, there's always a way to recover these deleted fields/sections.
To do this, you must request another process member with an Admin, Developer, or Data Admin permission to edit the process form to restore the deleted field/section.
When they click Edit process, a pop-up will appear asking them whether they want the changes to be discarded or saved. When they click "Discard their changes and take over editing", your changes will be undone, and the deleted fields/sections will be reinstated.
Note: The above solution is just a workaround to be able to edit, recover or discard any changes to your form. We understand that some of you may not find this behavior efficient. However, we recommend trying this as a workaround for the time being. The product team is looking to bring an enhancement for this soon.
