Enhancements to board views
We’re excited to announce some powerful updates to board views that take your Kissflow experience to a next level. These features are designed to make your workflows more dynamic, collaborative, and tailored to your needs, all while adding a touch of sophistication to your boards. Here’s what’s new:
Expanded view sharing
View sharing is more flexible than ever. You can share a view with individual board users as well as account users and groups who are not part of the board. You can make them viewers or members for each view. This flexibility allows you to bring the right people into the loop, whether they’re part of the board or not.
Inside apps, you can share views with app roles as well.
Show/hide fields on item cards and layouts
You have the ability to control which fields are displayed in the layout for each view.
This functionality is available for both boards inside and outside apps, giving you more control over how your data is displayed.
Field permissions inside board views
Take control over how users interact with various item fields in a particular view by setting permissions for fields, tables, and sections in the item form. You can set the below permissions:
Editable - The field in the selected view can be edited.
Read-only - The field can only be viewed and not edited in the selected view.
Hidden - The field will be hidden and cannot be viewed or edited.
New Edit access permission
We’re introducing a new Edit access permission while sharing a board inside apps for more flexibility and control.
Revamped view configuration panel
The View configuration panel is getting a fresh look with a more streamlined design, making it easier to manage and customize your views.
These enhancements are designed to give you more control, flexibility, and ease of use when working with board views. Check out our help documentation to learn more on board views.
