SCIM overview
Understanding SCIM
System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM v2.0) is a specification of a REST-like protocol for unidirectional user provisioning over HTTP. In the SCIM protocol, the central identity management system is called the identity provider (IdP) and the third-party application is called a service provider.
By configuring your existing IdP, you can take advantage of automatic account provisioning in Kissflow. To use provisioning, youโll need to create a connector app alongside a supported identity provider.
Managing members
SCIM provisioning allows Super Admins, and IAM Admins to manage members more efficiently. Hereโs what you can do with SCIM sync:
- Create or deactivate a user
- Create or delete a user group
- Update user attributes
- Add or remove users from a user group
Setting up user provisioning
The SCIM provisioning setup will vary based on the IdP you use. Hereโre the ones we support:
