Release Alert: Enhance Workflow Efficiency with Skip Condition in Kissflow Integration Actions
Hello Kissflow Users,
We're thrilled to announce the launch of Skip Condition in Integration Actions, a feature designed to streamline your workflows and enhance efficiency.
With Skip Condition, you now have the power to skip unnecessary steps in your integrations based on custom conditions. This means you can tailor your workflows to execute specific actions only when certain conditions are met, saving time and resources.
Previously, you could only use the control connector in Kissflow to set up basic Yes or No conditions in an integration. Now, with the addition of Skip Condition, you can add conditions to each action within a Kissflow integration using the formula builder. This allows you to execute actions selectively, ensuring that they are performed only when the specified conditions are met.
Example:
Let's say you're automating the process of handling customer feedback submitted through a public form. You may want to skip feedback categorized as "General Information" and proceed only with sending emails for feedback labeled as "Issue" or "Feature Request." With Skip Condition, you can easily configure your integration to achieve this level of customization.
Moreover, you can utilize the run history of an integration to track whether actions have been executed or skipped, providing valuable insights into your workflow's performance.
Other examples:
- Event Registration: Send registration confirmation emails to new attendees only, excluding those who have already checked in.
- Project Task Management: Assign tasks to available team members only, excluding those on vacation.
- Membership Renewal: Send renewal reminders to members with expiring subscriptions only, excluding those who have already renewed.
- E-commerce Order Processing: Process only "Confirmed" or "Shipped" orders, excluding "Canceled" ones.
- Employee Onboarding: Send welcome emails to new hires only, excluding those who have completed onboarding.
Please note that conditions can be added only to actions within Kissflow integrations.
