Managing process roles and permissions
As an application owner, you will have default access to the process form and the ability to change many settings.
As an admin of your process, you can manage the roles and permissions of the process form. This way, you can specify which roles can access the process form, whether accessed internally (in-app) or from other external applications, such as other Kissflow apps or portal apps.
Access the process form > click Share.
On the Share page, click + Assign roles to select and add members. The hierarchy of roles includes external app roles listed below and in-app roles, along with their respective app names.
Add roles and assign Initiate or Manage permissions and click confirm.
Note: External app roles cannot be provisioned with the Manage permission.
4. To remove roles from a process form, click the delete button beside the role names in the Share page. The role will not be able to access or view the contents of the process form after that.
5. You can also change the permissions for roles after they are added. For example, if you want to change the role of a member from Initiate to Manage for an in-app role, use the radio button.
Roles and permissions
You can assign roles to members to control what actions they can perform in your process form.
There are two permissions for your roles:
Initiate - Users will be able to initiate new process items. They can work on all of the items they have created and assigned to them.
Manage - Users will be able to create and manage process items. They will have default access to all reports.
