Now live: Search bar in datasets

Have you ever spent too much time scrolling through a dataset to find one record? We’ve all been there. In large datasets, finding a specific record, whether an employee, a product, or a vendor, often requires scrolling or setting up filters, which can be time-consuming for a simple lookup.

To make this easier, we’re rolling out the new enhancement: a search bar in datasets.

What’s new?

You can now search datasets and dataset views using the new search bar. This isn't just a generic overall search; it allows you to target your query to a specific field for precise results.

Simply click the field dropdown menu to select any supported field within which you wish to search. Type your query and instantly see the results.

This update is designed to search the dataset effortlessly, removing the need for complex filters to query data.

Availability and support

We’ve enabled search across the following list of field types:

• Text, Text Area, Number, Dropdown, Yes/No, Multi-select, Checkbox, Currency, Email, Slider, and User fields.

• System fields: Key, Created by, and Modified by.

This enhancement is now live for users of all Kissflow plans. We can't wait for you to experience how much easier managing your data can be!
