Conferencing using Google Meet
Kissflow offers a Google Meet integration inside Chats that lets you instantly start meetings with others in your organization, be it a direct or group chat.
Configuring call settings
Account admins can enable or disable conferencing using Google Meet from Account Administration.
- On the top right corner of the home page, click your profile picture, and then click Account administration.
- Click Google Meet toggle button in Chat settings.
- Click Save.
Starting calls or meetings
To start a new call or meeting, click the Start conferencing button on the upper-right corner of a direct or group chat beside the Search. If you are starting a call from a group chat, all the members in the group chat are invited to join.
When you start a meeting, a card with the meeting invite is displayed within the chat. Participant(s) can click Join meeting to join the call, while you will be redirected to the meeting automatically. A corresponding event is also created in the calendar of the participant(s).
Note:
When you try to start a call for the first time, Kissflow will ask for your permission to create events in your Google Calendar. Once you grant access, the meet link will be generated.
Joining a call or meeting
When someone else invites you to a meeting, you'll receive a notification about it in Kissflow. You can join the meeting by clicking Join now or copy the join link and pasting it into your browser.
