Kissflow Teams

Kissflow Teams connector

Feeds in Kissflow Teams are places where members can engage in conversations in posts and replies, react to them, and interact with other members.

You can, for instance, use this connector to integrate your Kissflow Process with the feed from your Kissflow Teams. Take, for example, an employee onboarding Kissflow Process. After the employee onboarding process is complete, a customized post can be put to your Employee Announcement feed of Kissflow Teams.

Action(s) in the connector

Action

Description

Create a post in a feed

This action creates a new post in your Teams' feed.

Configuring Kissflow Teams connector

  1. Inside your Kissflow account, click your profile picture on the upper right corner of the screen > Integrations. Now, click the New integration button to provide a name and description for your integration.
  2. Inside your Editor, set up a trigger step. For instance, set up a Kissflow Process trigger.
  3. After setting up your trigger step above, click the Add button (

) to set up your action or search for the action step. Search for Kissflow Teams connector and select the action event.

  4. Create a new connection or use an existing connection in your account. You can connect to another Kissflow account or use your own Kissflow account. Connection is authenticated using your Access keys and secret tokens. After authenticating the connection, click Next.

  5. After authenticating with your Kissflow account, add relevant values against the Kissflow Teams configuration form fields. Specify details like the Team name, Feed name, Content of the post, etc. You can hit Refresh fields to view all the updated fields in the selected Kissflow Teams configuration form.

You can also map fields from your trigger step or fields from your previous action steps. These values will be automatically added to item fields after the action is executed.

  6. After a successful configuration, check whether your Kissflow Teams action step is set up correctly by clicking the Test button. The connector will pull field data from your selected Kissflow Teams account and display it as a JSON output. Similar to the trigger step, errors are notified to you right away. Fix them before retesting the action step.

Setting up a Kissflow Teams connector

After creating a custom workflow with your Kissflow Teams connector's action steps, switch ON the toggle button to activate the integration run. When you run a trigger step, a new post/announcement will be added to your Kissflow Teams' feed.
