SAP S/4HANA connector
What is SAP S/4HANA?
SAP S/4HANA is an in-memory database and application development platform that enables real-time processing of large volumes of data. It combines transactional and analytical capabilities in a single system to accelerate decision-making and simplify IT landscapes for businesses of all sizes.
About Kissflow's SAP S/4HANA Integration
The SAP S/4HANA connector in Kissflow Integration allows seamless interaction with SAP S/4HANAβs in-memory database, enabling real-time data operations directly from Kissflow apps and workflows. To integrate with SAP S/4HANA, users must have access to a valid SAP S/4HANA instance via APIs and be a paid Kissflow enterprise customer.
For example, a procurement team raises a vendor purchase request in a Kissflow process to source raw materials. Once the request is approved internally, Kissflow triggers an API call to SAP S/4HANA to insert a new purchase request record. The payload includes vendor details, item specifications, quantities, pricing, and required delivery dates. This real-time sync ensures that SAP S/4HANA immediately reflects approved procurement requests, allowing accurate tracking, budgeting, and reporting across departments.
Currently, there are no triggers available for the SAP S/4HANA connector.

You can also map fields from your trigger step or fields from your previous action steps. These values will be automatically added to item fields after the action is executed.
After a successful configuration, test whether your SAP S/4HANA action step is set up correctly by clicking the Test button. The connector will pull field data from your selected SAP S/4HANA account and display it as a JSON output. Similar to the trigger step, errors are notified to you right away. Fix them before retesting the action step.
